Intra-individual variability
Intra-individual variability reflects a transient, within-person change in behavioural performance. It is a most important issue of analysis for survival of patient in the hospital setting. Since patient is under constant moniroting system of nurse, nurse undertands more about specific changes within the individual and its determinants. Monitoring intra-individual variability can provide a warning of underlying pathology.
Intra-individual variability can be understood using univariate, bivariate and multivariate statistics and data visualisation tools.
A. X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 #5 independent variables.
B. X = x1,x2,x3,x4,x5, # 5 related components of one main variable.
C. X1t1, X1t2 #same variable between periods.
D. X1t1, X1t2, X1t3 #same variable across periods
E. X1Y1, X2Y2, X3Y3, X4Y4, X5Y5, #5 #2 variable relations
